Terms & Conditions
At the time that you confirm your booking with us, you are confirming your agreement to these terms and conditions
(Terms) which form a binding contract between us. If you do not agree to the Terms, you should not book.
How do I book?
- We operate a number of luxury Cat Napping Suburban Retreats. The ABN of the company which operates the site you have selected for your fur child will be specified on your invoice.
- We are loved for our luxury and individualised approach to our feline care. We love all the little details! Please provide us with any and all details we should know about your beloved pet at the time of booking.

In order to book, you must meet the following criteria:
- All felines must be desexed
- All felines must be at least 12 weeks of age
- All felines must be vaccinated with proof of vaccination to be given to us upon check in
- Flea and worming treatments are highly recommended
- Our fees are based on the dates, location and package of standard inclusions you choose to book. 50% payment is required in order to secure your booking and the balance of 50% is payable upon check in.
- We use third party payment providers such as Stripe, Paypal and Afterpay to collect payment who have their own terms and conditions which you must abide by. They may also charge additional payment processing fees which you are liable to pay.

The following discounts may apply:
- A long stay discount for bookings over 29 nights
- 10% discount if a valid Seniors Card is presented at the time of booking
- $2 for each night that you supply your own food
- Loyalty credits of $10 accrue each time you complete a booking of $100 or more. This loyalty credit may be applied to your 6th booking with us.
- We offer loving, attentive care for your felines in your absence, including feeding, companionship, litter/clean-up, enrichment activities and administering pre-agreed medications.
- Our inclusions depend on the package you have chosen and any agreed individualised requirements.
- All felines will be fed high quality feline food. All felines are kept in individual cages but are individually allowed playtime in a communal area. If felines are brought in by the same family, they may be kept in the same cage.
- Our services do not include grooming. We have a groomer that we can recommend to tend to the grooming of your feline. You are liable for all associated costs.
- If we find that your feline has fleas or worms while in our care, we reserve the right to treat any felines for fleas/worms. Additional charges will be payable by you at the time of pick up.
- If your feline causes excessive damage to any other feline or property, you will be liable for all associated costs which must be paid at the time of pick up.
- Felines can be collected during our opening hours which are Monday–Sunday 9am–1pm and 4pm–6pm* excluding Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
- *A $20 afternoon surcharge applies for collection between 4pm–6pm.
- Collections may be arranged at other times but will incur an additional fee. Please contact us to make arrangements at least 72 hours prior to intended pick up. We may or may not be able to agree depending on our availability.
- If you collect your feline earlier than your booked period, then our cancellation policy will apply unless otherwise agreed.
- If your feline is not collected by the nominated check out date, the standard nightly charge will apply for each night until the feline is collected.
- For all felines who have not been collected within 14 days of the end of your booked period, they will be surrendered to the pound.
- If your booking details change or services are required beyond our standard inclusions, additional fees will be payable.

Because we specifically reserve your booking for you, we require at least 7 days’ notice of cancellation. If you
are unable to provide 7 days’ notice, the following cancellation fees apply:
- In peak periods (including Victorian school holidays and public holidays), a $50 cancellation fee is payable and the remaining balance of your deposit will not be refunded but can be used as a credit for future bookings
- In non-peak periods, the entire 50% deposit will be forfeited but can be used as a credit for future bookings
- If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the entire 50% deposit will be forfeited
- It is your responsibility to provide us with all instructions and details we need to care for your feline, including any behavioural and medical history we should be aware of.
- If your feline is on medication, we will endeavour to ensure it is given appropriately. However, we do not provide vet services and accept no responsibility for any liability relating to medication administration.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing health conditions, unpredictable animal behaviour, injuries, medical events or other events outside our control, including death, injury or impregnation.
- We accept no responsibility for loss or damage of property except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or breach of law.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to refunding the fees paid or the cost of having the service provided again, whichever is higher.
- Our liability does not extend to any indirect or consequential losses.
- We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- We do not provide veterinary nursing services. Emergency situations will be handled by attempting to contact you and taking your feline to your nominated or a local vet if required.
- You authorise emergency vet treatment up to $500 and acknowledge you are liable for these costs.
- We may arrange products and services through preferred suppliers and accept no responsibility for those third parties.
- We do not guarantee availability of any products or services and may substitute where necessary.
- Please contact us first to resolve any concerns before instigating formal complaints or legal proceedings.
- You consent to use of photographs of your feline in our marketing unless otherwise advised at the time of booking.
- Late payments incur interest at 10% annually plus associated recovery costs.
- We may cancel your booking at our discretion and will refund all fees paid if we do so.
- We may assign our rights under these Terms with notice.
- These Terms form the entire agreement and may not be varied orally.
- The laws of Victoria, Australia apply.
- GST is payable in addition to quoted amounts.
- Invalid provisions are severed without affecting the remainder.
- Terms may be updated at any time. The version in force at the time of booking applies.
- Our Website means https://catnapping.com.au/ and associated social media pages.
- Website bookings are subject to acceptance.
- All prices are in Australian dollars and subject to change.
- Information is provided in good faith and should be independently verified.
- The Website is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties except where excluded by law.
- Liability for Website errors is limited to remedying the error within a reasonable time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Liability is limited to the amount paid or cost of re-supply
- If no payment was made, liability is limited to $100
- Liability is reduced by your contribution to the claim
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Website access.
- You must not use the Website for illegal, unauthorised or fraudulent purposes.
